Partner Program Evolution to Meet the Needs of a Changing IT Landscape

New Enhancements to the Elevate Partner Program Bring Unrivaled Opportunity for our Partners

November 9, 2022 | min

The traditional partner-vendor relationship model is rapidly changing, with some analysts proclaiming the “decade of the ecosystem” is upon us. At the same time, industry shifts in IT operations are upon us, with recent surveys showing more and more organizations are looking to shift to a hybrid cloud operating model for the real benefits of easily scaling applications from on-prem to the public cloud, optimized costs for performant and secure workloads, and the ability to tap into a flexible subscription model.

To address these massive shifts, Nutanix prioritized the partner ecosystem and customer lifecycle benefit approach with the introduction of our FY23 Elevate Partner Program in August, addressing partner’s needs to engage with customers through their lifecycle. Today, we’re expanding these efforts with the announcement of new program benefits which are aligned to these transformational shifts in our industry.

Rewarding Partner Value in Assisting and Discovering a Deal

The Elevate Partner Program rests on Nutanix's recognition of the significant value that partners bring to our joint customers. Partners are trusted advisors, guiding their customers throughout the buying journey - and beyond - to provide the business outcomes customers desire and expect. Partners with specialized expertise - and "in the trenches" experience - participate and add value at different points along the Customer's journey, including outside of transacting the deal. Now, we are rewarding this value creation by introducing a new Referral Program to our already industry-leading Elevate program, beginning November 1, 2022.

Recognizing the Emergence of Hybrid Cloud Solutions

The importance of application mobility in hybrid cloud environments is top of mind at the C-Suite level today. Nutanix is meeting this need head-on with our recent announcement of general availability of the Nutanix Cloud Clusters™ (NC2) hybrid cloud solution on the Microsoft Azure® cloud platform. NC2 provides organizations with a consistent way to run applications in any combination of private and multiple public clouds. As this “hybrid multicloud” operating model becomes even more prolific, partners are taking the lead to help customers understand the business value of moving their IT operations to hybrid cloud environments as well as assisting customers with operationalizing the effort to move.

Nutanix is recognizing this value creation by partners who’ve invested in the skills necessary to deploy hybrid and multicloud solutions for their customers with the introduction of the Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on Azure Incentive Program. This program rewards individuals at eligible partner organizations who sell this innovative solution to their customers.

Nutanix knows that, as industry trends and innovation occur, it’s important that vendors quickly react to such changes in order to meet the needs of their entire partner ecosystem and the customers they serve. The Nutanix Elevate Partner Program framework will continue to evolve in order to find the sweet spot where partner profitability meets the opportunity at hand.
