新規に買収したNetsil社のテクノロジーによって、複数のクラウドを対象に、
阻害することのないアプリケーションの可視性を実現
Nutanix Inc. (本社：米国カリフォルニア州、創業者兼CEO：Dheeraj Pandey、NASDAQ：NTNX、以下Nutanix) は本日、「.NEXT Conference 2018」にて、マルチクラウド時代向けに開発されたソフトウェア定義型ネットワーキング (SDN) ソリューションのNutanix Flowを発表しました。Flowはアプリケーション中心のセキュリティを実現することで、従来型の境界指向のセキュリティ製品では検知不能な、社内外の脅威を保護できます。Flowの各種機能は、NutanixのAcropolis™ソフトウェアに完全統合されており、容易に導入が可能です。さらにNutanixが最近買収したNetsil社の持つ、リアルタイムのアプリケーション可視性と検出技術によって、Flowの機能はより強力になります。Nutanix Flowは、アプリケーションのセキュリティの構築と管理を阻害することなく自動化します。

Nutanix Flowは、Nutanix Enterprise Cloud OSに組み込まれており、現在の主な機能は以下の通りです。

- サービスインサーションとチェイニング：複数のNutanix Readyエコシステムパートナーによる、追加のネットワーク機能を単一のネットワーキングポリシーに統合できます。
- ネットワーク自動化：Nutanix AHV (Acropolis Hypervisor) 上で実行される仮想マシンのアプリケーションライフサイクルイベントに基づき、VLANの構成やロードバランサーのポリシー変更など、共通のネットワーク構成の変更を合理化・自動化します。
インフラストラクチャーのイノベーションと俊敏性を加速させるため、ガートナー社は、インフラストラクチャーとオペレーションのリーダーに対し、「クラスタのパフォーマンスについて、アプリケーション別の表示を行うベンダーの優先順位を決定し、ネットワークの自動化、可視化、最適化の機能を選択プロセスの不可欠な要素とすること」を推奨しています*1。
