It feels somewhat strange to arrive at the end of 2022 without experiencing the normally-annual Nutanix .NEXT® conference coupled with our Partner Xchange event.
Each year, I look forward to meeting our partners in person, sharing and hearing new ideas and strategies, and celebrating our shared successes. Even during our .NEXT digital conferences in 2020 and 2021, it was great to virtually see the familiar faces of so many people whose hard work is so critical to everything we do at Nutanix.
But just because we won’t be together in person before the curtain closes on 2022 doesn’t mean we don’t have anything to celebrate. Indeed, this year has seen remarkable progress in how we at Nutanix support and collaborate with our ecosystem partners as we strive to continuously improve the ways that we all work together to create value for our customers – and for each other.
In August, we announced big developments for our FY23 Elevate Partner Program for resellers, service providers, and distributors – aimed at rewarding partner value throughout the customer lifecycle, in addition to prioritizing net-new customer acquisition.
Since its inception, Elevate has centered on our recognition of the massive value that our partners bring to our joint customers, who rely on partners to guide them through the buying journey and beyond Day 0 to help them turn their tech investments into business outcomes.
Through our new additions to the Elevate Program incentives stack, Nutanix is doing more than ever to reward our partners for building their skill sets to create this value.
Later in the year, we announced general availability of the Nutanix Cloud Clusters™ (NC2) hybrid cloud solution on the Microsoft Azure® cloud platform, along with a special incentive program for individuals at eligible partners. With NC2, Nutanix and our partners can now deliver a consistent way to run their applications in any combination of private and multiple public clouds – enabling a hybrid multicloud operating model.
Throughout the past year, we continued to expand the ways that we work with our ecosystem of Technology Alliance partners – a recognition of the fact that more customers are relying on integrated solutions that utilize a diverse stack of technologies. One of these partnerships netted Nutanix an “Ecosystem Partner of the Year” award in 2022. Even more importantly, these partnerships resulted in real value for a number of our customers.
For example, they helped a leading retailer transform to a consumption-based cost model and simplify database administration and deployment, enabled a fintech customer to achieve the scalability to simultaneously build five-times as many custom digital banking solutions with containerized workloads, and allowed customers easy portability and scalability for end-user computing workloads in the public cloud.
In 2022, we continued to work with our partner ecosystem to deliver solutions that help customers to simplify operations, find new efficiencies, and transform their businesses. There are too many successful stories to recount in this space. But it’s a testament to our partners that Nutanix has so many happy customers, as evidenced by our average net promoter score (NPS) of 90 during the past seven years.
In one example, a partner helped a West Coast university migrate to the Nutanix Cloud Platform™ solution. Previously, the university’s aging network had caused performance and availability problems. The new, completely virtualized Nutanix® environment enabled the university to reduce licensing costs, substantially decrease its datacenter footprint, and improve the performance and scalability of databases and other services.
One important way we celebrate these successes each year is through our annual partner awards. It’s my pleasure to close out the 2022 calendar year by announcing this list of well-deserved winners across the globe. Congratulations and all the best to our entire partner ecosystem this holiday season. We look forward to seeing you in person again at the .NEXT Conference 2023 in Chicago.
